Hit wrong button earlier. Want to build new motor something that will run @7.50 in 1/8th and be streetable. Was thinking 351w @10:1 compresssion, set of aftermarket heads (not sure which one), Comp solid lift 294 cam,(or maybe one of their custom ground cams, power range somewhere between 2200-6500 rpm), victor jr intake, 750 dp holley, 3000 stall, c6, 4.56 gear, 26 inch Et streets in a 68 mustang, it has sub-frame connectors, and traction bars. Was wondering if this is a good combination, and would this achieve my goal?

If you get rid of the c6 and use a c4 you can pick up almost .3 with just a trans change.

I called a buddy of mine that has a 68 Falcon. He runs 7.5s on motor and is street legal. The Falcon is about the same weight as the Stang and has the same sub-frame. This is what he has.351W 30 over twisted wedge heads 2.02/1.60s 10.1 compression Comp cams XE284H-10. This is a split duration hydralic cam. "Super Cam". Crane roller rockers. MSD 6-AL and MSD distributor Victor Jr w/750 street Demon Carb. Hooker Super Comp Headers 3.5 collector. 3" exhaust to Warlock mufflers.can be uncapped at the track. C-4 w/9" converter stalls at about 3200. 4.11 9" rearend w/9.5x28 ET Streets. He has a 50 Shot of nitrous that puts him in the 7.2s. He says his best buy was the cam. He had a crane cam in it at first and said the comp cam "woke this motor up". Hope this helps ------------------ 64 Pro-Street Falcon 351 Cleveland 4V 8.21 1/8 70 Plymouth Cuda 440 Magnum 6.72 1/8
