i have a 306 with gt40-p heads w/flattop pistons with about .020 deck height. i want to increase my compression a little without cutting on my heads or block. does anyone make a thinner head gasket than the normal fel pro gasket. i found some .019 ones for gm but the thinnest one i have found for a sbf is .038. any ideas. thanks

You should pick up a point or so of compression and should not have any problems at all as long as your pistons are at zero deck or below.
