If you run at a 1/4 mile track that gives both the 1/8 and 1/4 mile times, you can come up with a conversion that works pretty well for your car.

To do this, just take the 1/4 mile time and divide it by the 1/8 et.

For example... 12.63/8.0 = 1.58

To get your estimated 1/4 et from the 1/8 mile time, multiply by 1.58

To get the 1/8 et from the 1/4 mile time divide by 1.58

My car, and most other street cars on slicks seem to hover around a conversion factor around 1.57-1.58.

Happy Calculating...

Another one that works, is to add .24 to your 1/8 mile times, then divide by .655.

That one is fairly accurate Rob. Within 1% I'd say.
