Next week I'm going to try my 850DP on my 358" Clevor. Any recommendations on where to start with jetting, pump shooter size, etc.? I've never run this carb before, so have no real baseline. Here's how it's currently equipped: Jets: 71primary, 81 secondary. 2.5 PV, 50cc secondary pump with blue cam, standard primary pump with orange cam. shooter size is 28 primary, 31 secondary. The car weighs 3100# and has a tight converter, 4.33 gear and 29" tall tires. I shift around 7500rpm. Best run so far, with an 800DP, was 10.93@123.

Are you launching flat footed against the convertor or two step? If you are, the accel pumps and cams don't matter much. The power valve is only good for about 4 jet sizes. It would be nice to see it end up "square". I'd up-size the primaries.

I would start with 80's in the front. How much vacuum do you have at idle? 2.5PV is pretty low.
