I need to get my driveshaft loop installed by Thursday. Where is the ideal location for it? I have heard that you want it to be @ 18 inches from the back of the transmission. Is this correct? I am using the Summit universal kit, btw. Thanks! Tom ------------------ 1991 F150, 4X4, lift, 35's, 4.9l 1991 Mustang LX 5.0L, AOD 1970 Cougar, 351C-4v, C6

I was just looking at this in the rulebook the other day. I'm pretty sure it says within 8" of the front u-joint, but I think I've seen some tracks that say within 6" of the front u-joint.
