Hey..
My friend wants me to install a tach on his truck.

I need a little clarification...
On the back is 3 leads right?

Where do they all go again?

hi tyler, probably the red to a hot wire controlled by the ign. switch. black to ground. green to coil. if you have a white one, it is probably the light and can be hooked to the red one. notice i said probably.
good luck

Tyler do you mean which side of the coil does the green wire go on? If so, the negative (-) side.

Good luck, but remember we're only guessing. But it is a SWAG, scientific wild *** guess.
