I was talking to a ford racing tech and he said I should remove my pv and replace it with a plug. I've heard different opinions on this over the years but does it really help? I will try it at the track on the weekend and I will post the results. My current jets on my cleveland are 74/75 with 5.5 pv. He said go to 77 square and plug pv.

I'm sure others here know more but I believe your idle quality and low throttle response will suffer. If it is just a track car that might not be a factor.

It will meter the fuel more evenly w/o power valves and square jetting. It's the way to go for a strip only car.
