Great site, your certainly keeping my cleveland up and running here in the UK.My wife has currantly run 11.72 at 118 in the 351 shoehorned into our escort.I,m running a C6 at present but have the chance of picking up a modified C4.I know I will have to make alterations but will the C4 take the HP ok,car weighs 2300lbs.Thanks for your help,
David

Definatley switch. If the c4 has been modified it will more than take the HP of your cleveland. I run a C4 in my 69 fastback racer, it weighs 2835# with me in it, and it has gone 10.12 at 128 mph with a cleveland.

I AGREE. i've seen c4's live behind brutal 460's....the rotating mass and vehicle weight will be the obvious benefits.

67 coupe, 650dp and rpm intake on 5.0 with afr 165 heads, 4 speed, 4.11's.....best so far is [email protected] in 1/8 mile with 1.91 60ft. time.

I have been considering switching from my current C6 to a C4 also. What specific C4 application and what mods need to be done to last behind a 400 hp 3500 lb street car, as well as Dave and Shellie's application. Thanks, Tom
