If you end up picking from the two you have narrowed it down to, I would suggest the Comp. Better numbers on the exhaust side of it. I'm sure you've noticed that you could drop a tennis ball down the intake ports and even though you've cleaned up the exhaust side, these motors really respond to anything to aid the exhaust. ------------------ Paul Garant "No replacement for displacement."

Alex, isn't the 268 a symmetrical cam? Will it perform as well as an asymmetrical? ------------------

In your application yes. I used to install 268H's in MKVII's and 73-76 460 T-Birds. WOW, what a difference. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00 & '01 Fleet of FoMoCo products Moneymaker Bio US Class Nationals link

Alex, What cam would you suggest if I had a set of worked cobra jet heads, pop-up pistons. I want to shift at around 5800-6200 and not gonna spin the motor more than 6500 rpms.
