I'm helping my friend with his 351w and wanted to know more about your engine, like what rods and pistons did you use.Originally my friend was going to buy a stroker kit but now is planing on spending the money on new heads and is planing on buying world product heads, not sure which to buy sr or jr iron heads. His car is a 70 Mustang convrt that will send most of it's time as a street driver. I look forward to thoughts and sugestions from anybody. Thanks Roger

My engine is a stroker combo. Offest ground stock 69 crank to a 3.70 stoke. (this was before the cheaper aftermarket cranks were available. 6.125 Eagle H-beam rods, Chevy journal size. Custom made Ross domed pistons. ~13:1 comp ratio. Not too street friendly because of that, but I did do that Sat night cruise thing before the addition of the 5K stall converter. There are flat top pistons available for this stroke using 6.125 stock Mopar rods. Would be around 9.5:1 compression. For a 351W go with the iron Sr's. The Jr's are better for a 302. Bought mine from Keith Craft Racing in AR. Paid for upgraded springs and valve seals, along with bowl port work done. Did the runners myself. Just cleaned the casting flash from the intake runners, but opened up the exhaust alot. One other item: Headers. Get a set of Hooker Super Comp part # 6208. They are made for a 351W in an early Mustang. Great quality, easy fit, will clear any trans. Hedman also makes a set, but the quality on one set that I saw was very poor. Later, David Cole
