Jay - that's interesting. Just sent an E-mail to Edelbrock, about a year ago one of their tech guys told me they were working on a Victor 460 head. Have to see if they get back to me.------------------ Fred 68 Mustang 500CID/Powerglide - "No Tubs" 86 Mustang GT Cobra

I would expect with the downturn in the economy and rocketing gas prices, big block part development is going to slow down a bit.------------------ Jay Kilroy 68' Fastback GT 390 "No such thing as a cam thats too big"

A while back, a fella who claimed to know what was up with the E'brock Victor 460 heads told me that the Victor 460 heads would be similar in design to the Blue Thunder heads. But that's just hear/say... Ryan

From a 'Victor' head I would expect something more in line with the original A460 head, a step up from the CobraJet style head. Intake valve in the 2.3+ range, 1.88 exhaust minimum, maybe with raised intake and exhaust ports.------------------ Jay Kilroy 68' Fastback GT 390 "No such thing as a cam thats too big"

How will the new Trick Flow or Victor heads compare against the Blue Thunder aluminum heads?Friend of mine just bought a set of them. Got the ones with the BBC exhaust ports. Going in a tube chassis car. Will be able to use off the shelf BBC headers. I must say they are prob the best looking out-of-the-box head I have ever seen. Later, David Cole

It depends if the new TFS heads are anything like the old A460 heads that they used to make they will support quite a bit more airflow than the CJ and BT heads. The A460 heads could take a 2.3 close to a 2 inch exhaust, obviously you would have to have a big bore to support that. The intake ports on the A460's were raised quite a bit and required a specific manifold. At the time TFS made a single and dual plane for one carb, and a two carb tunnel ram. ------------------ Jay Kilroy 68' Fastback GT 390 "No such thing as a cam thats too big"
