I just recieved my engine back from the machine shop today. I started double checking all there work and am coming up with .003-.004 between piston and bore measuring 90 from wrist pin. The pistons are L2379 forged TRW. The box is marked .0015 minimum clearence mearuring 90 from wrist pin. Is this a little sloppy for a street motor?

Not for a forged piston Mark. they require more clearance than cast.

Thanks for the reply steve and Alex. I remeasured the two cyl,s with .004 and came up with more like .003. Good thing I didnt call the machine shop and make an a$$ of myself. Everything else looks great! I Cant wait to get the old Stang fired up.
