I have a holley 750dp on 351c 4v with quench heads. Cam crane solid 554/577 lift with 238/248 duration. After trial and error I've come up with 72's in primary side with 5.5 power valve and 80's in the secondary. The squirters are 28 front and 37 rear. Do I need to change my squirters? The pump cams are a white/yellow colour. Should I change them to the pink ones? By the way I went through all the archives thats why I'm asking these questions.[This message has been edited by 70coupe (edited 04-17-2001).]

First thing that I would do is replace the primary cam with a pink one and reverse the squirters. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member Fleet of FoMoCo products Moneymaker Bio US Class Nationals link

How do you like the cam? I an identical cam in the box right now and was wonder how "streetable" it is.

The cam is more streetable than I figured it would be. The idle is set at a respectable 750-800 rpm. Transmission seems to shift ok with 11" vacuum and the brakes are fine as well. Mid range power so far seems excellent although I wont get to the track until April 27 weekend. I'll post results for you.

The pink cams came stock on my 600DP so they must be fairly streetable cams.

Are you using a power valve on both sides of the carb or a plug in the back?

5.5 power valve in the front and there is no position for a power valve in the back.[This message has been edited by 70coupe (edited 04-20-2001).]
