probably an FMX type Cruise-O-Matic if case is cast iron and only bellhousing is aluminum.

10-4 on the FMX. C-4's behind FE's are extremly rare and were predominantly in Canadian trucks. There were some 68 390 Galaxies built with C-4's when there was a fire at the C-6 plant and there was a shortage. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member Fleet of FoMoCo products Moneymaker Bio US Class Nationals link

They're legal again NOW Rory. Long story, but we won the war over the C-4 FE debacle with NHRA. By the way Rory, if you trip over any of those bell housings let me know. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member Fleet of FoMoCo products Moneymaker Bio US Class Nationals link
