Any lite will work. I use a craftsmen lite. My dad got the flaming river one wire timing lite. Works great just add batterys hook it up to the number wire. And your ready to go.------------------ oddly obsessed with big scoops on little Mustangs HOOD HACKERS DELIGHT! My Pics

After a MSD tech told me my Snap on timing lite would not be accurate with my 6al box, I went out and bought the light he reccomended. THAT was a waste of money. It was just as inaccurate (accurate) as my Snap on. My experience has been the same as Scoops. I have yet to see any shops use anything other than Snap on lights on MSD stuff.

My experience has been if you get a nice timing light it will get either damaged or stolen within minutes. If you get a crappy POS one it will be with you forever. ------------------ '70 Mustang Mach 1 - '70 Mustang Convertible - '72 Mustang Sprint - '94 F-150 XL

Thats so true! Tape messures too! I have two cheapo models that I can bury in the field. And some how they keep showing up in my tool box. Get a nice one and you'll either never see it again,or when you go to use it's broken. ------------------ oddly obsessed with big scoops on little Mustangs HOOD HACKERS DELIGHT!
