At the local Sam's club they're selling 6 ton imported jackstands, a pair of em for around 25 bucks. They have chrome plated bases and say "goodyear" on them. They also had a 3.5 ton floor jack for around 60 bucks, it was blue w/ "michelin" on it. Anyone using these items and have any comments?

I bought both items. Very nice and easy to use. The jack (3 1/2 ton) weighs a lot though so its not one you can pick up and move around, it needs to be rolled. Jack stands are first class as well.

The jack works well, only complaint is the handle doesn't stand up over the jack when "parking" it. Takes up more room when not in use, I just take the handle off.
I NEED A BIGGER GARAGE, then it wouldn't matter.

i bought the floor jack and the jack stands and i cant complain i needed a good floor jack and i bought both from sams here ...with the jack stands being so heavy duty i dont have to worry about a thing..next thing is gonna be a creeper...

it does take up some room and i lost the thingamajig that keeps the handles together but gonna fix that too..
but another thing i like is the car ramps which come in handy also...

i did get the set for about 65 bucks which was a deal considering the other brands..
