when it comes to buying tools what brand has the best quality for the lowest price. I am trying to start a decent collection. thanks

Best advice I can offer is to go to flea markets and buy Snap-On, Husky, Proto, Mac, Craftsman, and other tools. You'll get them for a cheaper price and the old stuff is a lot better than the new stuff.
