Customer was a guy in his 40s. Clerk was a teenage girl. {Oh my gawd! }

Customer: "Miss could you please tell me which of these sockets are metric? My son wants a set of metric sockets for his birthday and I'm not sure what to get him."

Clerk: "Hmm, I'm not sure. Dan's on his lunch break. I think it says which is which on the packaging..."

To think, these two were out in public all by themselves!
