I just went to a grand opening of Harbor Freight Tools in Melbourne,FL.Why am I so excited about this you ask? Because it's only 30 minutes away from my house! WHOOHOO!!! No more waiting weeks for my stuff to show up at my door! I finally got to inspect some of the tools from the catalog, and I was pleasantly suprised that alot of them were of a high quality. I wasn't expecting that. I figured that it had to be junk because of the low prices they were asking. Of course there was alot of junk there as well, but at least now I can pick it up, look it over, and make a decision on wheather or not it should join the other tools in my happy garage. I felt like a kid in a candy store! -Paul

I have a number of their non-critical tools such as 4 1/2" grinder, front spring compressor, pry bars, small hydraulic press, etc....and those kind of tools are good for their use....use them up and toss them out...

Throw away prices....throw away tools. Even a made in china socket set looks good in it's steel box, etc.

I thought about tossing out my Harbor Freight spring compressors and buying a new set and found out it had a liftime warranty. Such a deal?
