If you want to protect your rollaway from theft, take out the drawers and drill a 1/4" hole in the corners of the inside of the chest through the bottom into the top of the cabinet. Then you can install 4 1/4" x 3/4" bolts.Having the two bolted together guarantees nobody will walk off with your rollaway. ------------------

When I had mine at the shop it was chained but I would turn it around so the drawers were next to the wall. It pays to keep a good bumper sticker on it TOO. "Protected by 357 Mag."

Someone can steal anything if they want it enough, but bolting the two units together makes it damn hard to walk away with the whole shebang.------------------

I always bolt my boxes together. I also take the drawers out of the bottom and drill holes out the back. Then I use BIG washers and bolt the bottom box to the wall, preferably some place where you can't get to the backside easily. I have my home boxes bolted to angle iron in my garage. The only way to get the box would be to break the lock so the thief could remove the drawers. I've worked in shops where this was impractical. One place the janitor got mad because he could never move my box to mop the floor, it was bolted to a big steel workbench.
