The wash and rinse is water and baking soda to neutralize the acid. Ospho is a phosphoric solution. The co. name is The Skybryte Co. 3125 Perkins Ave., Cleveland, Ohio, 44114 I get it at my local paint and body shop supply but I also see it at True Value Hardware. It is commonly used in auto shops in my area as it is a good metal prep. Unlike some metal preps, it is left on the bare metal surface as a base for primers. Pool acid is nasty stuff, it is actually Hydrochloric Acid. It does eat rust, but the bare metal must be treated immediately. A number of us have used it for several years but it does require SPECIAL handling.
