Wayne,
thats the style I have, and I have yet to have a problem. But, I'm like "Tim Allen" I had to modify mine to make it better.

Since I only use it on Mustangs, I found that the threaded rod is to long and cut a couple of inches off. Then on the washer end, I added a 2" spacer between to washers. Its worked for me.

I have also used that style. As long as you're careful you shouldn't have any problems. I've done 69 and 71-3 Stangs with them.

Wayne,
That is the one I have. I have done big & small block springs on a 68, & small block springs on my 65. Will do the springs on my 69 also. Just go slow & be careful, it works fine.

Looks just like mine, mine has been around for at least 20 years and has done several dozen sets of springs with no problem.
