I've been using Pine-Sol to strip paint off park lenses and plastic trim. It works excellent, and the pieces look very clean afterwards.  You get most of the paint off by by soaking overnight, stubborn paints take longer. Some parts had to soak for a week. It didn't hurt my parts whatsoever. ------------------
