I just ordered a set of ramps from Griots Garage. Would you believe they told me that I would get them in 2 or three weeks, and that's with an additional charge of $10.00 for shipping. I purchased them because they lift to 7.5" and will hold 6500lbs gross plus they come with a low profile kit that should allow me yo get my Vette up on them. Two to Three weeks for crying out loud, I'll forget I ordered them by then. I'm sure they don't stock a thing. Someone will call someone else who will order them from someone else who will ship them to me. I did send them a nastygram, we'll see if they do something about the shipping time...... ------------------ 1965 Convertible - 289 2V - For Pics see DI'S 65 this site ! Here is their response. I'm pleasantly surprised. Dear Mr. DelVeccio,Greetings and thank you for your recent order with us ! I do apologize that the approx. 2 week delivery time for the ramps is a inconvience for you. This item is considered to be a custom item so it does ship directly from our manufacturing offices. I have a request in at this time to see if I can expedite the shipping to you for ups 3 day @ no extra charge. Normally items shipped from our office takes only 5 business days to Texas. We do have express shipping available when you need to get the items to their destination a bit quicker ! Again, we do appreciate your patronage and have a great weekend ! If you have any further questions please feel free to email me back or you can call us direct! Have Fun In Your Garage ! Michelle Culver [email protected] 1-800-345-5789

Well - They didn't make it happen as they eluded they might. They shipped UPS ground anyway. Another vendor bites the dust. I usually only give vendors one shot at my money. Have found there are plenty of others waiting fot the opportunity !!...
