Author Topic:   Looking for 71 Comet GT keither08 Journeyman Posts: 1 From: Oak Ridge, Tennessee, USA Registered: Apr 2005 posted 04-13-2005 10:05 PM             I am looking for a 71 Mercury Comet GT, with a 302, 3 speed (auto would do if I can't find the 3 speed, but I want the 302 for sure)...I had one my dad bought new in 1971 and I added headers, air shocks, and large back wheels and tires, it also had a Mr Gasket Shifter. I loved that car, but when it had some problems I traded it in 1976..wish I hadn't...anyway, I am looking for one to restore..if anyone knows where I can find one, let me know IP: Logged
