Somewhat confused on the difference, so I'll just ask how many rows it has, and how wide it is??? TIA

It's fits 70 351w w/HD cooling or 67-68 390, 427, & 429. Its a 3-row radidator. 24-1/4" width 16" height. 1.5" right hand inlet and 1-3/4" right hand outlet instead of a left hand outlet. if you have anymore question let me know.

so basicly the lower tank with a left hand outlet was removed and replaced with a right hand outlet.

Sorry, guess I should have ask if it will fit a 68 with a 289/C4 OK. I want a rad before the 100 degree days hit, but I'm really wanting a 4 row.

well I had no cooling problem here in chico and it get 100 degrees. I oringinal had this radiator made while I was in AZ and it gets 110+ degree there and I had no overheating problem in 45 min stop and go traffic. Check around and if you can find anything better let me know.

If both outlets are on the right hand side on your 289 it will work just fine.
