The term Windsor is only really used by Ford to distinguish the 351W from the 351C and 351M. The 221-260-289-302 engines are only referred to as small blocks.

Thanks Steve, I was only questioning because I have never heard them being called a 289W, rather as a SBF.

They are all windsor motors but it is just assumed that when you say windsor you mean 351. they were named for the plant that made them.
