OK, laugh if ya want, but will this fit and work with my 289??? If so, post or e-mail me an addy to drop the MO to. Going to start getting ALL the pieces for my cam swap. I'm STILL learning, as much as possible, about the Mustang, so bear with me if I seem dumb on certain things. Anyway, if it will work, and you want to sell it to me, I'll take it off your hands. Thanks for the time Alex. Just for knowing in the future, what does FE stand for???

It doesnt fit your 289.Its for all the 360/390/406/410/427/428 engines(and a few more).FE means F**king expensive.I read an old Ford engineering book and they said FE just meant "Ford Engines"

The "FE" series engines were originally a 352 cubic inch that was destined for the Ford Edsel, hence the FE.
You'll see 352 cast on the front of 390s and 428s.
There is also "FT" which is for Ford Truck.
