Scoop, am I remembering correctly? Are you pulling a set of 3.25's. Would you be interested in selling? Charlie

They are 3.40 gears but Ken has first call on them.

blownmaverick, that sounds like a bit to much.

Thanks Steve
But I think this one is dead.
For some reason you just find any good used or cheap priced new gears for the 8".

Scoop since you haven't found any I talked to a buddy of mine about it that I went to college with. He has piles of ford rears and some other cool stuff. He had an all aluminum z06 corvette motor that he just sold for a huge chunk of change. He couldn't come up with any and couldn't find any, and suggested to just buy a new set. Sorry, but I tried.

You might check with Drivetrain Superstore on the net. I priced a set of 3.55's from them and it was $17262 plus shipping. There were made by Motive Gear (Premium). The number is 800-326-8016, ask for Brian @ ext.203. Don't know him, that is just who I have been talking to. I figured for the price they would be worth it. Now I just need to save a few more nickels.

Thanks the cost of the gears aren't bad, it's the cost to have installed too.

Well Scoop, for that price, I could get a set too, and we could help each other do BOTH. Not at 1700, but 170 plus change.

Thanks John, I've been watching that one. But I can't spend $610 plus shipping right now.
