Thanks Steve But I think this one is dead. For some reason you just find any good used or cheap priced new gears for the 8".------------------ oddly obsessed with big scoops on little Mustangs 65 coupe 351w C4 Big Boss 429 hood scoop,8" 3.40 TracLoc. My Pics

Scoop since you haven't found any I talked to a buddy of mine about it that I went to college with. He has piles of ford rears and some other cool stuff. He had an all aluminum z06 corvette motor that he just sold for a huge chunk of change. He couldn't come up with any and couldn't find any, and suggested to just buy a new set. Sorry, but I tried. ------------------ 1970 coupe restored with the help of my dad. 306 with 650 dp holley, Weiand Stealth intake, headers, mme custom roller cam, harland sharp roller rockers, kb pistons, 10.3:1 compression ratio, pertonix ignitor 2 with matched coil, lakewood bellhousing, 4-speed toploader, and 3.50 9" locker rear. 1986 f-150, 5.0, factory towing package with original c-6 trans

You might check with Drivetrain Superstore on the net. I priced a set of 3.55's from them and it was $17262 plus shipping. There were made by Motive Gear (Premium). The number is 800-326-8016, ask for Brian @ ext.203. Don't know him, that is just who I have been talking to. I figured for the price they would be worth it. Now I just need to save a few more nickels.------------------ Jeremy '68 Coupe M&M Member #685 Servin' the Lord in My Ford!!! http://www.geocities.com/bibbs76/MyMustang.html [This message has been edited by bibbs68 (edited 02-11-2005).]
