Does anyone have a pair of these plastic trim pieces, that surround the Sport Lamps on a Mach?

Steve- If the Comet ones are the same, I have a box full. I haven't had the Mach ones to compare close up, but if you can check and they will work, I'll be glad to send you a pair.

Steve, is it hard to find parts for your Mach 1? I'm am going tomorrow to see about one that might be for sale in my area. It looks similar to yours, although the body is straighter (no offense). I know it runs and drives, and the body is supposedly solid. Any critical things I should look for?

Not too bad. The parts are out there if you are patient or don't mind paying extra if you're in a hurry.

Look for the obvious rust areas, like the cowl, wheelwells, aprons, subframe rails and behind the rear valance panel.

I got to look at it today. The body is straight with no dents or dings. It has some rust bubbles on the left rear quarter. Both front floorboards need to be patched. The interior needs a new console, headliner and driver's seat cover. It has the 2-barrel 351C with a shaker hood, auto, no spoilers or slats and the wrong hubcaps. It has A/C which doesn't work. It starts right up and seems to run good. He wants $6500. Can't decide if I should stick with my '68 or go for the Mach.
