"Here I Come To Save The Day..." I found my digital camera while unpacking and repacking boxes for storage. Edelbrock Super VIctor 8.2 prototype. Over 50 hours labor invested. High horsepower piece and needs high RPM and 300 cubes or better to work. 10 HP over highly modified Victor Jr. Very tall and will NOT fit under stock hood with a spacer. My loss is your gain. $1500 FIRM! *Note, this intake will NOT work well on a street application. It is for serious high horsepower and is one inch taller than a Victor Jr. Email Alex for details @ [email protected] Sample stamp: ------------------ "The MoneyManager" Heide & Homes too! WHAT A BUNCH OF CRAP!!! We've been patiently waiting this long to look at a $1500 intake, and we can't even see inside the thing??? I could go to the Edelbrock site and see this much... Uh, thanks... ------------------ Mike Burch 66 mustang real street 302 4-speed 289 heads 10.63 @ 129.3 http://www.geocities.com/carbedstangs/cmml_mburch.html http://www.fortunecity.com/silverstone/healey/367

I thought WVians were nicer than that. He could have not even told us about it, let alone shown us pictures. In addition to that, he has spent over 50hrs milling the thing to be much better than what is on the Edelbrock site. I wouldn't let my secret out either, but that's just me. Thanks MoneyManager!!! It's outta my price range but I'm sure someone would love the extra HP!!!

Hey, I can rag him if I want dammit! He knows I'm not angry... Didn't you see the smiley face? If I was going to pay $1500 for an intake, I'd want to see the whole thing.... I -was- curious as to what was done in there. ------------------ Mike Burch 66 mustang real street 302 4-speed 289 heads 10.63 @ 129.3 http://www.geocities.com/carbedstangs/cmml_mburch.html http://www.fortunecity.com/silverstone/healey/367 [This message has been edited by n2oMike (edited 01-22-2002).]

Hey Alex, is this the prototype for the new Super Victor 8.2 Part Number 2928 ? Looks to be very simular to Edelbrocks newly released intake. Well, minus the secret part. Wish I had the spare change and a use for it.

It is indeed the prototype SUPER Victor. It is stamped "sample" on the bottom as you can see in the photo. NOTE to potential new 2928 purchasers. They will NOT fit any std SBF head and block combo without serious end rail milling. We had to cut the sh*t out of ours as they make the end rails way to thick for porting. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00, '01, & '02 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Part time secret agent license #0089 US Class Nationals link

How much CFM does it want for carb? I guess the question is, is it strictly an SS/LA piece?

We made close to *** HP with the Autolite 1.08 carb and this intake Larry . For kicks we installed a BG Demon 650 and picked up over 30 HP @ 8600 RPM! On a 300 inch or better motor and a 650+ good carb I gurantee it to out perform ANY single four intake. Sheet metal included! ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00, '01, & '02 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Part time secret agent license #0089 US Class Nationals link

Alex, I think you should lease it out, kind of like the Pro/Stock teams were doing with their motors a while back. Put a carb on it with some kind of locking bolts that only you can get off. That way they wont be able to steal your secrets! LOL! Roger
