We just picked up another dozen of these Sig Erson Cams and kits at the PRI show. This is BRAND NEW grind and is not even in the cataloge yet. They work great and can't be beat for the price. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00 & '01 Fleet of FoMoCo products Moneymaker Bio US Class Nationals link

It is a bit more radical. It has a much racier idle and will pull to 7000 RPM with no problem. If I didn't like it I would not have purchased so many of them. The profile and the price were just too good to pass up. Look at what you get. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00 & '01 Fleet of FoMoCo products Moneymaker Bio US Class Nationals link

How radical is it ? What other mods would I have to have on the engine to make full use of this cam ? Right now I've got a Weiand stealth intake and Holley 4160. Everything else pretty much stock, no headers either.[This message has been edited by Robert K (edited 02-13-2002).]

Robert, you would need headers for sure, and pinned or screw in rocker arm studs. I would also rather see you with a bit more sophisticated carb like a 4150. I would not recomend this cam for a stock automatic. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00, '01, & '02 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Part time secret agent license #0089 US Class Nationals link

Alex, How would this cam work in our car? Would it be better than that Comp Cams shaft you mentioned earlier? Thanks.

"I would also rather see you with a bit more sophisticated carb like a 4150. "LOL!!! That's good Alex, I like that. I would have been disappointed if you hadn't made a plug. Cam leads to screw in studs and if you've got screw in studs, you might as well have roller rockers. And then you might as well get a new intake and of course I'll need headers and a ...... Maybe I should just slap on a new carb and be happy with what I've got... ------------------ 67convertible 289/auto 65fastback 302/4sp [This message has been edited by Robert K (edited 02-14-2002).]
