How do you put the spring perch? Does it make a difference if you put the spring perches either way? What I meant is if the coil spring end that meets the spring perch is located into the inner part of the car or the outer part

Under the coil spring. You have to remove it to replace the perch. They are inside the shock towre, which holds it and the shock in place. I hear good things about poly perches, not sure how they fit exactly, but I will find out tomorrow morning when I do my suspension kit swap. Hope this helps some anyway.

One of the grooves on the coil spring perch has a tab at the end of it. The end of your coil spring should touch that tab.
The side with the tab goes in, closest to the shock tower.

Thanks for that info Scott, saves me from posting it tomorrow, unless this kit comes with GOOD instructions. Guess I should open it now. Ooops, sorry Mikel.

Got it! Thanks a lot. I thought about this problem because I purchased a new old stock monroe and after a few miles, the front shocks snapped and broken into two from the base of the mounting. maybe its just too old a stock
