I overfilled my transmss by perhaps 1qt (the little black fluid bottle) looks to be about 1/2 inch above the fill line
Is this stupid error in danger of blowing seals.?
I am about 1/2 mile from my mech/ would you advise draining overfill?....what?

1 quart probably isn't going to hurt anything.

Easy fix. Here's how the tranny guys do it.
Crack the line loose at the cooler on the
radiator. Start it up, and it will pump out
ATF. Use a clean pan. When you get done,
make sure you tighten up the cooler line.
