Ok... so if you guys remember I was trying to find a brake booster that will work with my manual brake pedal.
https://mustangsandmore.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/016181.html

A friend reccomended me to the site. This is a universal brake booster. It is supposed to work with any pedal.

Notice how it comes out at an angle from the firewall.

I still need to contact that company and ask them if my master cylinder will work. I don't know how to tell if it will fit in my engine compartment. It looks fairly small. I guess I also need to ask for dimentions.
Does anyone forsee any problems with this setup.

Personal opinion it looks awfully complicated. It may just be easier to swap to PB pedal no ? Plus you probably won't have enough space for this set-up

I know the 71-73s may have more room, but i can't even remove the M/C without removing the booster and M/C together (there is that little room from the firewall to the shock tower). Also, notice how it is angled towards the fender. The location of your stock hole is closer to the fender and you'd have to cut your inner fender to get the M/C on, not to mention trying to access the lid. I'd either go with the conversion ones from NPD/Mustangs Unlimited or get the correct pedal and booster.

I bought a conversion kit that was a bolt-up to my 66's manual brake setup. Fairly simple swap - my only problem was that the master cylinder was very close to the shock tower creating the need for a little creative bending of the new line to the distribution block. I got mine from:

www.piratejack.net

So far, so good, though it has only been a couple of days so far.

My car is a 73 mach. Changing the pedal is a pain in the a$$. I just did it 2 weeks ago. I was trying to find a universal booster that can work with my manual pedal.
I know that they are out there.. most have an adjustable rod between the booster and pedal. That should be all I need.

My currnet master cylinder and booster are the origional ones installed at the factory. My booster is bad and needs replacing. Additionally it dosn't hook up to my manual brake pedal correctly. I have to replace the booster. I was hoping to do this without changing the pedal again also.

One more week of looking for a booster and I'm going to give up. I will go with a OEM booster and modify my power brake bedal to work beside the clutch pedal. Then reinstall that pedal.

Are you aware of the booster kits available from NPD? One is just the booster alone for $250 and the other is booster and M/C for $320. The booster alone states it is a mini booster but doesn't mention anything about no pedal mods. The "Power brake conversion sets" state specifically that there is no pedal modification necessary. Thats the only alternative that i can come up with besides changing the pedal and buying a new OEM booster

Actually I wasn't aware of that. I looked in my catalog but didn't see what I needed. I will call NPD tomorrod and track it down..

Thanks for the lead.
