hi....took off valve cover and saw:

65 289 4J17 (little screw plate) and a circle with 8753 in it

i couldn't see any casting number...any idea what size combustion chamber these are?

ps the M&M search function seems to be wonky for the past couple of days...is it just my end or others having problems?

thanks

The search function is messed up. I've been fixing and it still keeps messing up. I'm working on it.

The casting numbers for your heads are under the ports.

The 4J17 is the casting date of October 17, 1964.

The actual casting number is on the bottom meaning pulling the head off. It would read C5AE in 1 spot, then "B" in another near the short bolt side of the head.
