My 67 vert has a power top that works good but I think it needs to be bled if that is something that is done. Does anyone know how to do this?

Maybe someone will come up with a better answer. The last one I filled, I left it unpluged and ran it up and down, slowly adding fluid. After a few up and downs, closed it up and it never gave a prob again.

Fill it to the bottom of the threads in the fill hole. Cap it. Run it up and down a few times. Let it sit for ahile to let the bubbles and foam settle out. Check the fluid level and top it off if needed.
Repeat as necessary.

Type F trans fluid is what I use and what Ford suggests. The fill plug should be on the end of the pump motor, and will be either a rubber plug that you'll probably have to remove with needle-nose pliers, or it might be a large slotted screw.
