Am I correct in saying that the 65 'bright red' interior color is different from the 66-68 'bright red'? I know 'bright red' isn't the name, but I'm saying that because I thought there was both a light and dark red for 66-68. I'm confused, and the 66-68 'red' interior paint I got from Mustangs Plus (Rainbow Ind. #9) looks pretty darn maroon in the car!
I assume the paint is supposed to closely match the fiberglass and vinyl colours too, right? I have an early 67 (april) fastback, red int. red ext. Sorry, I forgot to copy the door plate codes down this morning. Thanks! Joel

65 is a bright cherry red.
66 and up is more of a maroon, depending on the surface (vinyl color looks different than metal or hard plastic pieces).
70 had a bright red again called Vermillion.
