thanks to one of the members here i have a good question...has anyone ever turned a 6 cylinder z bar into an 8 cylinder one? I accidentally purchased a 6 cylinder one off of ebay...

Posted this in the classified forum as well:All right man, Gotcha! Talked to my Dad today--
He said we shortened the bar, and moved the lower arm. Upper one stayed where it was. Arms didn't receive any modification whatsoever. Just cut it off and rewelded it. Like I said, it works like a charm, no issues with it at all. Just remember measure twice cut once good luck and let me know how it goes! Luke
