 thanks to one of the members here i have a good question...has anyone ever turned a 6 cylinder z bar into an 8 cylinder one? I accidentally purchased a 6 cylinder one off of ebay...

 Posted this in the classified forum as well:All right man, Gotcha! Talked to my Dad today-- He said we shortened the bar, and moved the lower arm. Upper one stayed where it was. Arms didn't receive any modification whatsoever. Just cut it off and rewelded it. Like I said, it works like a charm, no issues with it at all. Just remember measure twice cut once good luck and let me know how it goes! Luke

 thanks mooney,I was looking at it and realized that you'd only have to move the lower one. thanks again.
