I'm going to be installing an 1989 302 HO motor into my 66 coupe. The motor takes a 157 tooth 50 OZ flywheel with metric pressure plate bolts(dont have the flywheel, clutch, or pressure Plate yet) I have an 83 mustang manual bell, a 1974 Manual Bronco bell and a Lakewood Scatter-shield available to use. I want to install my T-10 into this setup.---What clutch, flywheel, pressure plate TO bearing and bell would I need to make this work with stock mustang clutch linkage.

I'm not sure about the T-10 bolt pattern and input shaft, but if it is the same as the toploader 4 spd, then my setup may be helpful. I have a late 5.0 engine with a Centerforce billet flywheel and Centerforce Dual Friction clutch. The flywheel, clutch, and pilot bearing (roller) are all 5.0 type components. I put this in a 66 Fastback using the stock 1966 289 bellhousing, stock Z-bar clutch linkage, and stock throwout bearing. I did have to use one of those Z-bar adapters for the late 5.0 block as it doesn't have a Z-bar pivot mount.

What fork did you use in your setup. What do you mean by the roller clutch and flywheel. Is the clutch a long style?Did you use the stock flywheel from the newer 302

I put a late 80's 302 in a early Bronco. I had to find a 50 oz balance flywheel. I got it out of a 302 truck. I think it was a 164 tooth. I used a regular bronze crank pilot bushing. I used a diaphragm type clutch from a local supply. I believe the pressure plate bolts were 5/16. The fork and throwout bearing were the same type as I had on earlier.

I have a 4 speed toploader in this. The T-10 has the same bolt pattern.

To clarify:
The clutch is a Centerforce DF diaphram type made for the 5.0.
The flywheel is a 5.0 type (157 teeth) and is made by Centerforce.
The pilot bearing is a 5.0 roller type.
The clutch fork is stock 1966 289 type.

OK, I just did almost the same thing but I used a 94 block and an older style side-loaded 4 speed. I used a bronze pilot bushing and my old style throw out bearing becasue the one that came with the clutch would not work with the older style clutch fork. I had to check for fit becsaue it is very tight and I had to grind a touch of the webbing in the bell houseing. You will also need metric bolts. I used a Ford Racing 157 tooth flywheel with a 50oz balance. Here is the clutch that worked for me:

Thanks for the breakdown. I found the flywheel and clutch listed at summit racing. Its a 10 spline, 10.4" clutch and a 10.50 flywheel.

I had thought the diaphram clutch was only for a hydralic clutch system-Am I wrong in this assumption.

You can change to the diaphram type with no other changes. I like them because they take less effort to push in the pedal and seem to engage more smoothly.
