After a 5 1/2 week wait and them telling me at 4pm on the day I was to pick it up that the metal man would not put the lights back on for he was afraid he would scratch the paint ( Like he could not tell me that 5 1/2 weeks ago) I had to drive a hour at 6 the next morning and buy running, back up and tail lights and seals. I was going to change them anyway and am happy that they did the work. Still have so many things left to do but I do love the way it turned out. I also found out that they cleaned the trunk and painted it black for no charge. A check next to my next project and they gave me a can of 3M undercoat to black out my wheel wells.

I love the ghost flames, another mustang lives.

I do not think that any M&M member has a lack of "things left to do"

Very Nice,

Steve

That's way cool in alot of ways. Simple, clean, and w/o all the chrome. What size tires you running? Usually the older Mustangs look like they have less to me.

The tires are P255/60R15 Back 195/65R15 Front
I do like the clean lines without the chrome and the chrome was the biggest source of my body rust problem.
I wanted the torque thrust rims and noticed that it seems most cars have them and I noticed almost no one had the smoothie rims. I do get allot of comments on them being different which makes me happy. Like the grille, took me a year to find one and now they are everywhere.
When I did the flames I told him I wanted them to be very faint. Before the clear when I went in they were almost pure silver and bold. I was not happy but at that time I kept my mouth closed. After the clear they faded almost 75% which made me happy. Would not have minded if they were a tad lighter but would not change a thing. And Trish hasn't said anything about the old tires stacked in the center of the living room.
Thanks

Looks awesome! Even like the old dog dish style rims. Old school rocks. Enjoy the ride. You have earned it.

Beautiful, looks clean, lean and mean. Love the flames, rims and the extra rubber in the back. Sits nice with a little rake also.

When you are done you can go race what looks to be the 65' or 66'parked in the driveway across the street! Looks like Mustang block party!

When you get a chance how about some pictures of it in the sun light.
Love the color and those flames are awesome.

VERY, Very nice job. We always called those wheels "chrome reverse's" when I was growing up in TN??? Full and baby moon caps.

Thanks everyone, I ( of course) still have lots I want to do. Trish is making me work on the kitchen instead of putting in the new seats which are in our bedroom. I have been trying to race the 17 year old girl across the street for over a year now but she won't. Says her 6 cyl has enough trouble starting. I did give her a ride and now she wants to trade...

Cool ride, 65.
My brother had a 71 Comet that had white letters and moons. This reminded me of that.

Bet it's fast!!!!!!!!!!!!
