Just wondering. Got mine the other day. It's only about 8 inches long. I have a 70 with a console so it can't go there. Any reason (other than being a little harder to get to) not to put it in the trunk??

With the ride you have I know I'd want it where I could reach it! One place that is out of sight and completely wasted space in almost every car in the front of the driver's seat - right under your thighs. Any chance you could strap it there? Some newer cars are putting storage boxes there.

Just a thought.

What about the windsheild pillar, pass side??? If you get a small enough one, with Velcro attachment, should work???

Assuming you dnt have a rol cage bc that would be the best place. but to give you some quick insight, a fire doubles in size every TWO minutes. ive seen them mounted on the A pillar (both sides) under the seats, behind the seats, inside 1/4 right next to the door, the trans tunnel, glove box just to give you some ideas. by the way i am assuming you purchased a extinguisher for a car . you want it to say good for class A,B,C fires.

I saw a guy at our cruise in that had his mounted in a perfect spot. It was in the engine compartment mounted right next to his remote oil filter. I guess he figured that once the underhood fire got hot enough the extinguisher would explode and put out the fire.....
