I am replacing the wiring harness in the engine compartment of my '67 convert. I can't remember if the wiring goes over the fuel line or runs under it on top of the frame rail. Can anyone help? Thanks, Charlie

my 69 is above. I am pretty sure all of the 67's that I have seen had it above as well. I'll ask around.

Vegas Mach I Thanks, i was thinking it ran along the frame rail underneath the fuel line, but I unconsciously have it laying on top and I just don't remember. It's not a big issue, just one I want to get correct. Charlie

Charlie, are you talking about the dizzy wire cluster??? I have 3 seperate lines coming off the firewall and they all 3 are above the engine. 2 are over by the MC and they snake around to the VR via the shock tower. Hope it helps, but I'll check whatever I can for ya.

I am talking about the harness that comes through the firewall in the big rubber grommet, goes past the master cylinder, around the drivers-side shock tower, through the radiator support, across the front and through the support again to plug into the alternator harness. It feeds all the front lights. Does this go along the frame rail below the fuel line or above? Thanks in advance for the help. Charlie

Above, about half way up the tower. You can almost draw a straight line from where it appears, to the front of the tower. They are held in place with plastic retainers that clip into the wall. It runs together with the rubber line from w/sheild bottle, in my case. That's what the 2nd line was that I saw. At the front of the tower, it dips down and goes where you said. Hope I am clear enough Charlie.
