just bought a 68 mule with what looked to be a 289/302 in it. It originaly came with 289. Long story short it appears to be late model at least the heads takes r45ts plugs
how do i determine the block and head years and size?

For the block there will be a casting number on the right side of the block above where the starter mounts. On the heads, the casting numbers are underneath the intake ports.
