Thanks guys.

I only have a couple months left in the AF, so I won't be going back over anymore.

I had a lot of help from Larry and Chad at LA Mustang - Larry's shop in Ogden Utah. He has had numerous Mustangs make it into M&F magazine.

The car is fun, but I don't race it. I don't have money for that.

Oh, I race it at the drags, just not in the scca. I can't afford to wreck it.

I have only 3000 miles and 1 trip to the drags under my belt with this car.

It ran 14.2 as is off the street. I have some VALID excuses for such a slow time.

We are at 4500 feet in Utah. Also, I was shifting at 6900 RPM, where the engine is built to make power. I dynoed the car a while after the races at the Dr. Gas shop in Sandy, UT, and my power is cutting off at 5100. That should explain the crappy time slip. Shifting at 5100 would put me in the low 13s.

When I get her tuned, she should be making over 400 hp to the wheels at 7000 RPM. 289 @ 5100 to the wheels now

I am not sure what the deal is quite yet.

Any suggestions?

I think it is a fuel problem with either 1. Electric fuel pump 2. fuel filter 3. alternator (cutting out at a high RPM, not supplying the pump with power).

It is no big deal now. I am just cruising her around, but I do want to open it up once in a while, you know?
