Looking to put new shocks on my 66 coupe. Has a 289, stock suspension. Car is a daily driver. Wife also drives the car. Which would be better, the GR2's or the Gas Adjust? TIA, sparky!!!

The wife would like the GR2's, they are stiffer than stock but not as much as the GasAdjusts. If you are starting to do modifications and will enjoy the benefits of the performance handling, use the GasAdjusts as a base, then add a monte carlo bar and export brace, latter upgrade the front way bar and stiffen up the rear spring bushings. KYB Gas-A-Just will give you a very firm/harsh ride. For a daily driver I recommend Monroe-Matic Plus. http://www.monroe.com/

For the best ride, I prefer the KY warming gel myself. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,'04 &'05 First SS/MA in the TENS!
