This post is a little FYI. I contacted Painless Wiring to see if they have any plans to manufacture an under dash harness for our 67-68 models. Here is thier response: Sir,(wow Sir!) "We are releasing the 20121 '67-'68 Mustang factory harness in early January. This kit will rewire your Mustang in the professional manor you are looking for. Please check back at this time for more information on this harness. Thank you for your interest in Painless"------------------ http://www.users.qwest.net/~bakenaz1/ Deluxe Coupe 289 4v (Soon to be 351w) Fact Air, Front Discs

Why do you want Painless? It will be a PAIN in the a$$ to install. Buy the repro.1967 harness from NPN it is just like the original & easier to install.

I looked into Painless stuff and also figured it would be very painful. Perhaps it would be even more painful if they hope to wire 67 and 68 Stangs with the same harness.

I just installed an ez wiring harness in my 68 fastback. It has 21 circuits and was very easy to install. I got it done in 1 day. The car's lights and radio are a vast improvement over the factory original. It only cost $181 including shipping!! Happy Holidays everyone.Lee

I could live with that, cheap and easy. I checked that site out, and it is . They have switches, and ignitions for dirt cheap too! [This message has been edited by 68 Coop (edited 12-17-2004).]
