Not sure if this helps but ive heard LEDs are pretty hard to see from an angle. Harder for other cars to see the lights. David F.

I wouldn't want to confuse and delay the braking action of any of my easily confused fellow human beings who may be driving too fast while talking on a cell phone behind me.

Well, since I make it a habit of trying to let EVERYONE see my tail lights, I think they would look really cool. I think I will end up doin' them, but it's down on the wish list.------------------ William 68 Coupe Stock 289 Edelbrock 600/RPM Intake Ignitor/Flamethrower Thorley's with Da Bomb's C4 2.79's out back(for now) 15"x7" AR ASTRO's(needin' new tires) "Project Under Construction"

california has the led replacement bulbs on sale right now for about $10 bucks each. Don't know if that is what you are looking for. Hope to get some for Christmas.Richard. ------------------ rmousir '66 Mustang Coup Ford Blue & white stripes 302 auto work in progress - [email protected] Check out my site: My Toy ~ Updated Oct '04

I put some LED lamps in my motor cycle as side/stop lights, when you stand in-line behind the bike they seem very bright, but when you move to the side slightly they seem dimmer then the orginal bulbs. This made me think twice about fitting LED bulbs to my Mustang. The bulbs on the Mustang did seem dim, when I checked the voltage to the bulbs I was only getting just over 9 volts hence why they were dim. I ran some new wiring to the rear lights as a direct feed, getting the full voltage to the bulbs. The lights now seem twice as bright, I would say almost as bright as the LED units in my bike. So if you are thinking about fitting them I would check the voltage to the bulbs, as even if you do fit them if the voltage is down, they might not be any brighter.
