I just got my Mustang back from the shop. I noticed some hesitation when accelerating. Went back to the shop and they "adjusted" the carburator. Still some hesiation. I discovered some air bubbles floating into the fuel filter just before the carburator. Replaced the fuel pump, replaced the old rubber hoses going back to the tank. Everything looks nice, clean and tight. I still have hesitation. The car iddles very nice and runs OK after I am accelrating more heavily. There is a point between the time I take off and the time I push the gas heavily that the car appears to be gasping. Any ideas?

Check the timing and make certain that the vaccum advance mechanism is operating.
If that is in order, replace the accelerator pump in the front of the carb.
