This last year i have been hit over and over with just about every kind of heart break you can conjure up from the death of my parents and very shortly later my grand parents to major surgery from which i have not fully recovered from i am now deep in dept and will be forced to sell my 70 Mach . I can not put in to words how much this pains me to do this but i now have no choice. So if any one can shed some light on the best way to do this i would be most appreciative. I have no experience selling a car on this scale so i am at a loss for the proper way. I have a link here on M&M if any one would like to see her and my e mail is also on file here as well. Thank you for your time. http://mustangsandmore.50megs.com/MembersPics/rm302boss.html Rene Marin------------------ 1970 Boss 302 1990 Taurus SHO 1985 Mustang GT 351W www.crcmotorsports.com

no idea on how to sell your car ... perhaps ebay would be the best way ?Just wanted to offer my condolences for the loss of your parents and grandparents, and wishing you all the best for your recovery.

Sorry to hear of the tough year. I'd suggest ebay, too, and get paid in cash in full before the car moves. ------------------ '70 Mustang Mach 1 351C 4V/FMX/3.25 Open '70 Mustang Convertible 250 I6/3 speed/2.79 Open '72 Mustang Sprint Hardtop 351C 4V/FMX/4.30 Trac Loc '94 F-150 XL 5.8L/E4OD/3.55 Limited Slip

Too bad there's no other way, That one sweet looking car. I'd think really hard before letting it go. Sorry about your hard times.------------------ "I started with nothing, and I still have most of it left" http://webpages.charter.net/adragon8u/mystang

Rene Marin,I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I have had some tough times as well in the past (as I am sure most people have). I have come close to selling my car a couple of times. I almost cashed in what little I had saved in retirement and stocks, etc. I am sure you have already gone over all of this but when I faced money\stress\medical problems my wife and I went on a money diet. We made arrangements with all of the creditors and keep a very open relationship (by name) with them. Then I parked all the vehiciles that did not need to be driven. I kept only the min coverage for the mustang. Park insurance is very inexpensive. Got rid of the cell phones, cable, high speed internet, call waiting, sat tv, etc. It worked for us. We are back on our feet and looking towards purchasing a new larger home than we are in now. Once we got past the first month things got better and worked out. My point is I hope you can work things out and keep what makes you happy. It is not always possible but sometimes it is. Good luck. You could try www.greatvehicles.comn. Of course you might more exposure and a bidding frenzy on e-bay. Think long and hard about this before you decide to sell. I have almost sold my 72 a couple of times, but worked through it. Way I figure it, if I ever get rid of it I will probably not ever have another.

So sorry to hear about your loss and the other problems that have made your life tough the last little while. I have "been there, done that" not to long ago and almost sold my 65 Fastback. I was able to cut corners elsewhere and really tighten my belt and things have turned around. I know it seems like the world is kicking you in the nuts everyday, but if you can hang on and ride it out it will be the best thing you have done. As I said before I have gone through it with family deaths, losing my job and all kinds of sh!t going on, but I vented here on this site and some very nice people gave me a shoulder to lean on and some wicked good advice. I hope it works out for you and you will soon see the light at the end of the tunnel. Talk to the people here they are very smart and compassionate, you don,t have to spill your guts, just vent and share the burden with some of us, it sure helped me and I am only to happy to try and help you.------------------ JOHN 65 FASTBACK 2+2.....14.44 @ 107mph 1/4 87 TAURUS WAGON 03 F150 XLT SUPER CREW 4X4 SHORT BOX Member:Vancouver Island Mustang Association M&M #1710 65 FASTBACK 2003 F150 XLT SUPER CREW 4X4

I share rmousir's opinion but also assume you've thought about it for a long time. What are your state's bankruptcy laws? Some of my family members have dug themselves into holes and used chapter 11 and I think 7 to dig themselves out. In my position if I could keep my house and Mustang the credit hit wouldn't affect me in the least.
